The organisers of Casual Dining, the definitive restaurant, pub and bar event, have revealed a world-class Keynote Speaker line-up for their comeback show at London ExCeL on 23-24 September. The seminars take place alongside the event across three Keynote Theatres and offer trade attendees exceptional access to industry leaders and experts.

Tom recently joined the Hospitality Mavericks Podcast, proudly sponsored by Bizimply. Tom, Phil and Dorian decided to open Honest Burgers one night over a pint in their favourite pub. And that’s what we wanted Honest to be like too: a no-fuss, pull-up-a-chair local (you’ll find a different beer from a local brewery in every Honest) with good people and good food. They recently celebrated their 10 year opening anniversary and have 46 locations on the go.

Rob has over 25 year experience within the hospitality sector and joined the Board of Revolution Bars Group as Chief Executive Officer in June 2018 having previously been Divisional Director for Mitchells and Butlers 500 outlet Restaurants Division, prior to that Rob ran their Pubs Division

Mark Selby, Co-Founder & CEO, Wahaca

Mark Selby co-founded Wahaca in 2007 and as CEO has overseen the development of the business into one of the UK’s most sustainable and loved restaurant groups. Prior to this, Mark spent two years at Capricorn Ventures helping on strategy, operations, and finance for a host of restaurant groups including Nando’s, Pizza Express and Baker and Spice
Steven Mangleshot, Global Executive Chef & Brand Ambassador, Wagamama

Wagamama began in 1992, when they opened their first restaurant in Bloomsbury, London. They offer customers the kind of fresh, fast food and relaxed atmosphere you get in Japanese noodle bars. The Japanese inspired restaurant now spans over 17 countries worldwide.
Anthony Pender, Co-Founder, The Yummy Pub Co.,

Anthony Pender began his career as Commercial Manager at Alton Towers before becoming a Sales Manager for Carlsberg in 2004. Here he was responsible for free trade sales across the south coast of England. The time spent at Carlsberg UK was invaluable and allowed him a wide insight into the licensed & hospitality trade. In September 2007, The Yummy Pub Co was launched by Pender and like minded business partners. They are an award winning boutique pub company with the simple goal of creating Amazing Experiences for their guests whilst being the best employer in the hospitality business.
